Chelsea To Be Dealt Huge Blow As Real Madrid Reportedly Agree Terms With Eden Hazard

Real Madrid have reportedly agreed personal terms with Chelsea forward, Eden Hazard.
The 28-year-old Belgian attacker’s contract runs out at Stamford Bridge in 2020, and Chelsea are ready to sell him if they cannot tie him down to a new deal.
They want around €170million should they sell him, with Real reluctant to meet that figure, though they could send Mateo Kovacic to Chelsea permanently.
Hazard is one of the best players in the world, and the going rate for players of that quality seems to be around €170million – look at Philippe Coutinho and Kylian Mbappe, for example. Whether it represents the most judicious use of money is another matter, but Real Madrid rarely seem interested in looking towards younger players to save cash.
However, Chelsea will not let Hazard go easily. The Premier League club value the attacking midfielder at around 170m euros, a fee that Madrid – who are thought to be eyeing a part-exchange deal involving Mateo Kovacic – would not be willing to shell out for a player entering the final year of his contract.
Currently on loan in West London from Los Blancos, Kovacic doesn’t want to return to the Bernabéu when his temporary Chelsea deal ends in the summer, and the six-time English champions would like the Croatian midfielder to stay on.
Chelsea working hard to convince Hazard to extend contract
Hazard has frequently spoken of his desire to one day play for Madrid, notably doing so earlier this season in an interview in which he admitted he would also happily extend his contract at Chelsea, where he feels settled, is a fan idol, and has a club board desperate to persuade him to renew.
Hazard’s coach, Maurizio Sarri, is also keen for Chelsea to keep the former Lille man, telling the media this week: “It’s up to him. I think the club is available to sign a new contract immediately, but it’s up to him if he wants to renew or not. I want Eden here, of course, but I want him here if he wants to stay here.”
However, reports in the UK say Chelsea’s policy of only handing one-year contracts to players over 30 – Hazard reaches the milestone just over six months after his current agreement expires – could prove a stumbling block.

A history of training ground bust-ups between teammates

The row between Sergio Ramos and Sergio Reguilon during Real Madrid's training on Monday was just one of the many that have occurred over the years between teammates. Some of these cooled down relatively quickly, but others led to the intervention of other colleagues to relieve the tension. Here you can find some of the most notorious arguments that have taken place at training during the last couple of decades. Nelson Semedo's challenge against Neymar frustrated the Brazilian, who exploded against his teammate. After the intervention of Sergio Busquets and Javier Mascherano, the current Paris Saint-Germain forward stormed out the session after ripping off his training kit. A teammate threw the ball towards Dani Carvajal's face and the Spaniard, enraged by his colleagues' action, kicked it back towards Lucas Vazquez and Marco Asensio. During Los Blancos' 2006 pre-season, Thomas Gravesen's challenge on Robinho resulted in the latter throwing a punch at th...
