EPL: Roy Keane reveals who caused Arsenal’s 3-2 defeat to Southampton

Former Manchester United captain, Roy Keane has blamed Arsenal goalkeeper, Bernd Leno following the Gunners’ 3-2 defeat by Southampton in the Premier League encounter on Sunday.
Goals from Danny Ings (2) and Charilei Austin (1) ensured Southampton defeated Unai Emery’s men at home.
However, Henrikh Mkhitaryan did score a brace for the visitors.
Keane blamed Leno for his poor decision-making against the hosts.
“The decision-making [from Leno for the final goal was poor],” Keane said on Sky Sports after the match.
“As soon as the ball leaves Shane Long’s foot, you’re thinking that the goalkeeper is in trouble.”
Keane added: “We keep talking about a bit of steel in this Arsenal team. I’ve still got huge doubts about them defensively.”
The result against Southampton means Arsenal now sit in fifth place on the Premier League table.
Arsenal will now tackle Tottenham Hotspur in their fixture in the League Cup quarter-final clash next week.
