Liverpool team news: Squad hint as Mane spotted at Anfield, Alisson reveals penalty tactic

SADIO MANE has been spotted at Anfield as Liverpool gear up for their Champions League clash with Red Star Belgrade.
Liverpool have been boosted by the return to fitness of Sadio Mane ahead of their Champions League meeting with Red Star Belgrade.
The Senegalese winger broke his thumb on international duty and required surgery, forcing him to sit out the Reds’ 1-0 win away at Huddersfield.
However, Mane returned to training on Tuesday and has now been spotted arriving at Anfield with the rest of the matchday squad ahead of tonight’s game.
The 26-year-old has a cast on his left hand but is expected to start against the Serbian side as
Liverpool look to get their Champions League campaign back on track.
Any advantage Alisson can gain will be welcome, with Liverpool already disadvantaged with Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita both sidelined.
Both midfielders are out with hamstring injuries so
Fabinho could be handed his home debut alongside Georginio Wijnaldum and James Milner.
However, Xherdan Shaqiri was preferred against Huddersfield while Adam Lallana is another option, although the England international suffered from cramp at the weekend.
Mohamed Salah was an injury doubt last week but scored the winner against Huddersfield while Roberto Firmino was rested but should replace Daniel Sturridge.
Jurgen Klopp’s side got off to an excellent start with a dramatic 3-2 win over Paris Saint-Germain but then slumped to a 1-0 defeat against Napoli in their second fixture.
The Reds are currently second in their group on head-to-head results, despite PSG hammering Red Star 6-1.
Goalkeeper Alisson is obviously not underestimating tonight’s opposition, with the Brazilian stopper seen clutching some sheets of paper that appeared to be penalty tactics.
Green and red circles could be seen on an outline of a goal, potentially indicating recent successful and missed penalties from the Red Star players.
