Selena Gomez knocks $300,000 off price of Texas mansion after it fails to find a buyer at $2.999M

She's been trying to sell her palatial Fort Worth, Texas, estate since 2016.
And now Selena Gomez, 26, has knocked more money off the asking price for the five-bedroom, six-and-a-half bath property on 1.5 acres.
This month, the listing price was reduced from $2.999 million to 2.7 million as the starlet tries to find a buyer.
Selena first put the property on the market just months after buying it in 2015 and originally listed it for sale at $3.499 million, according to Architectural Digest.
When it failed to sell, she briefly took it off the market, listing it again at $3 million in early 2017.
Then this past February she shaved another $100,000 of the list price before making her latest reduction in mid-June.
The estate has a 10,000-square-feet main residence plus a guest house and a free-form swimming pool complete with spa.
There's a stone courtyard with fountain at the main entrance to the home.
The grounds include a putting green and a shade structure sits over an outdoor kitchen and dining area that's adjacent to the lighted sports court.
There's also an outdoor living area complete with fireplace and flat-screen television.
The chef's kitchen has top of the range stainless steel appliances, a large granite top island and custom cabinets.
The formal dining room can comfortably seat eight and has custom cabinetry and a wrought iron chandelier.
A living area in the open-plan home features a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace and a vaulted ceiling with wood beams.
In the entrance hall, there a dramatic staircase to the upper floor and a large wet bar.
The master suite has high ceilings and wood floors with windows looking out onto the lush landscaped yard.
Wood doors and paneling are also featured in the ensuite master bath along with a marble floor.
Other bedrooms have ensuite baths, too.
There's also a screening room, a poolside cabana, a game room and a garage for six vehicles.
