Maurizio Sarri has Chelsea working hard in training as they prepare to face Liverpool for a second time this week
Maurizio Sarri has been pushing his squad to the limit in training this week as they prepare for their second match againstJurgen Klopp's Livrpool in four days.
It was Chelsea who came out on top of the midweek Carabao Cup tie after Eden Hazard came off the bench and put in a world class display to turn the tides in their favour.
A world class goal by the Belgian earned Chelsea a dramatic 2-1 win late on. The winger will have to show something special again on the weekend, under a new lease of life with Sarri there's no doubt he's capable of it.
With Virgil Van Dijk potentially unfit for the gargantuan tie this weekend, Chelsea's forwards will be licking their lips.
Both Chelsea and Liverpool are two of the three teams left in the Premier League yet to lose this season. Liverpool are the only team with a perfect record of six wins, another on Saturday would live the club their best start to a season ever.
Klopp's high press has worked a treat for him so far and Sarri will be all too aware that his players will have to work even harder than normal if they want to win a match which could play a huge part in this year's title race.
The tactical battle between the two managers will be fascinating but all eyes will be on Hazard and Mohamed Salah. The battle promises to be a special one which will surely be entertaining for any football fan.
