EPL: Chelsea vs Liverpool: Team news, injuries, possible lineups

Chelsea will on Saturday evening take on Liverpool in the Premier League fixtures at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues head to the game following a goalless draw with West Ham United last weekend in the Premier League.
Maurizio Sarri’s men, however, defeated Liverpool 2-1 on Wednesday night in the Carabao Cup third round encounter.
Midfielder, Mateo Kovacic, defender, Cesar Azpilicueta and winger, Willian are all expected to retain their places in Sarri’s squad against the Reds.
Forward, Pedro has been suffering from a shoulder injury he sustained against PAOK in the Europa League clash, while striker Olivier Giroud is now the first-choice striking option due to Alvaro Morata’s poor form since the start of the new campaign.
Midfielders, Jorginho and N’Golo Kante are expected to return in Sarri’s squad after starting on the bench at Anfield in mid-week, while Kovacic is still favourite to get the nod over Ross Barkley on the left of the midfield.
Defender, Antonio Rudiger is doubtful for the clash after picking a knock against the Hammers last weekend.
Sarri may give ex-England international, Gary Cahill a first league start against Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Meanwhile, Liverpool head to the game following a 3-0 victory over Southampton last weekend in the Premier League.
The Reds manager, Jurgen Klopp, however, is expected to make many changes in his team following their mid-week defeat to Chelsea in the EFL Cup tie.
James Milner, Georginio Wijnaldum, Keita, Fabinho and Jordan Henderson will all slog it out for the three midfield berths, while Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino are expected to lead the attack line for the visitors.
Chelsea’s potential starting XI: Kepa; Alonso, Luiz, Cahill, Azpilicueta; Kovacic, Jorginho, Kante; Hazard, Giroud, Willian.
Liverpool’s potential starting XI: Alisson; Robertson, Van Dijk, Gomez, Alexander-Arnold; Milner, Henderson, Wijnaldum; Mane, Firmino, Salah.
