Neymar leaves young pitch invader in tears as he gives him match-worn PSG shirt and Brazilian insists he wants to 'return the affection' from supporters

Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar left a young pitch invader in tears at Rennes as he gave him his match-worn shirt.
The Brazilian was being replaced in injury time with the result secure and the supporter made a dart on to the pitch to meet Neymar, before bursting into tears in the attacker's arms.
Neymar quickly consoled the boy, kept security stewards at bay before handing him his shirt, later revealing he is determined to 'return the affection' he receives from supporters.

Speaking after the 3-1 away win, Neymar said: 'I am happy with the affection I receive when playing away, even more when it's from a kid, it's more natural.
'It's something very pure, so whenever I can I will do everything to return the affection I receive.'
Neymar often gets a bad rep but this gesture in the final seconds of the match had both home and away fans talking.
It is not the first time a young fan has encroached the pitch in a bid to meet the Brazilian superstar and he once again handled it well, with the fan in floods of tears.

Bouncing back from the disappointment against Liverpool in the Champions League, Neymar and Co came from behind at Rennes to maintain their charge for yet another title in Ligue 1.
They are the overwhelming favourites to comfortably retain their status as French champions but made hard work of it initially at Rennes.
An own goal by French midfielder Adrian Rabiot gave Thomas Tuchel's side work to do but goals from Angel Di Maria, Thomas Meunier and former Stoke City forward Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting ensured the away win.
PSG are now six wins out of six and switch their attentions to Wednesday night where they host Stade Reims for domestic matchday seven.
