Tekashi 6ix9ine’s home in Brooklyn, was reportedly raided by Federal agents and it was gathered that during the search, they found a gun.
The rainbow-haired rapper wasn’t home at the time of the search by the Federal agents and has been away for several weeks. However the raid led to questions of who the gun found in Tekashi 6ix9ine’s home in Brooklyn, belonged to.
The rapper who was recently in Colombia with future collaborator Kanye West and has been busy touring Russia, has had several run-ins with the law, and was recently arrested for an alleged assault at a Houston mall.
However TMZ reported that 22-year-old Tekashi 6ix9ine, born Daniel Hernandez, was reportedly in the process of moving out of the home that was the target of law enforcement authorities. Recall that we reported that the rapper was arrested weeks ago by the NYPD, acting on an outstanding warrant from Texas.
The arrest took place on July 11 at New York City’s JFK Airport, as Tekashi was returning from his recent European tour. The arrest was reportedly connected to an alleged January 2018 altercation Hernandez had with a 16-year-old at Houston’s Galeria Mall. The 16-year-old claimed that Hernandez choked him. Representatives for 6ix9ine offered no comment
6ix9ine came to prominence in 2017 with the song “Gummo.” His success has been controversial due to a court case from 2015, in which he pled guilty to a felony count of Use of a Child in a Sexual Performance. The charge stemmed from videos involving a 13-year-old girl. In one, she is naked and sitting in his lap, and in the other, Hernandez is shown “making a thrusting motion with his pelvis and smacking her on her buttocks“ while the 13-year-old performed oral sex on another man.
In May, 6ix9ine was arrested for driving with a suspended license and allegedly assaulting a police officer, according to the New York Post.
